Antonio Ocasio Birthright EP Vol. 2

Tribal Winds founder Antonio Ocasio continues to serve up tracks from his Afro-Cuban music-meets-deep-house opus Birthright, an album he's stretching out across four slabs of wax. This is EP number two and contains a trio of genuinely killer cuts. First up is 'The Antidote (Music Is Medicine)', a joyous, harmonica-heavy chunk of rolling, shuffling percussion-rich deep house headiness capable of putting smiles on faces. 'Dancing In The Mist' is a deeper and more dubbed-out affair rich in hushed stabs and layered Latin house percussion, while 'Lluvia Majica' is a deep, slow-build slab of funk breaks-propelled deep house warmth rich in lilting lead lines, sustained synth-strings and languid solos.
