RED CLOUD - Double Talk

Emotional Rescue continue to explore the archives of the Dancefloor label, and also extend their appreciation for the golden age of lovers rock. This time their attention is on Red Cloud, a UK reggae act who were active through the 80s. 'Double Talk' was a hit when it was released, but its limited pressing means it's been prohibitively expensive for far too long, so this reissue should be very well received indeed. As well as the smooth as silk original version, there's a cool and deadly 'Double Dub' version to sink your ears into as well. Stretching things out in his inimitable style, DJ Duckcomb gets busy on the B-side with nearly eight minutes' worth of 'Discomix' to keep that quintessential lovers groove rolling for as long as possible.
