Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! are never shy to support exciting new talent, and so it goes on this sublime 12" from breakout producer Poko Poko. The "Petrichor EP" kicks off in bouncy fashion with the sweet and lilting "Hurdy Gurdy" before shifting stance to the sweet boogie inflections of "Iglozub". "Stipperflip" presents a more dusty, rattling strain of deep house that positively quivers with hand-crafted energy, and the title track completes the set with a seriously funky, soul-soaked get down packing one of the coolest basslines we've heard all year.
