Germany's Freund Der Familie crew come together for a perfect wintry collection of bottomless dub techno rollers, all mastered by Sven Weisemann. Opener 'Foundation' stutters on a brilliant beat with paper thin chords up top and a distant vocal reverberating around the mix. 'Respond' is another absorbing and atmospheric piece where every single shade of grey is offered up to make for grain and lo-fi dub currents. 'Kylao' gets a little more dynamic and propulsive but remains superbly delicate and 'Overdrive' closes out with more whispered vocals and underlapping drums.
