Glenn Underground - Chicago State Of Mind Part 2

A welcome return to Organik from Windy City great Glenn Underground, an artist whose detailed and decidedly cosmic take on deep house has been entertaining us for decades. This time round, he delivers three more takes on his own 'Chicago State of Mind'. He first serves up the '326 Lower Wacker Drive Main Mix', where vibraphone motifs, spacey electronics, eyes-closed lead guitar solos and funky bass wrap around a layered, Latin-flecked deep house groove, before dropping a more stripped-back and percussion-rich 'dub' along similar lines. Turn to side B for his 'Euphoric Disco Ride' version, an even more bouncy and funky take smothered in intergalactic synth solos and jammed-out chords.
