Frisson EP Part B (Range Music Special)

Manchester-founded, Stockport-based Ten Lovers Music celebrate 30 years of operation in 2026 with a nice four-tracker of deep and jazzy house, each selection sticking out like an exquisitely picked wildflower. 'Handle With Care' brings this-side-up house movements and softest kicks from Canadian producer Mike Perras, before more recent signee Takahiro Fuchigami, from Fukuoka, brings the much-less-easy-to-follow 'Wired City', with a nearly unplaceable first beat of the bar. Jose Rico & Ruben Valero's 'Harmonies & Melodies' certainly does what it says on the tin, with a very sweetly wrapped up selection of chords and jazzy runs, before Lobos Marinos close on 'Paradise Lost', a fun and incongruously light-spirited jazzy house affair that's brimming with life.
