Bengoa, previously of Blind Stitch Records, launches a new platform, B2 Recordings and kicks off the label with somewhat of a coup - enlisting Chi-town demigod Larry Heard to contribute two leading remixes to the EP!

While both versions are moody as hell and cloaked in a pitch black patina, it's certainly the 'Underground Mix' that does it for me - with a simple two note Larry keyboard motif, deep male vocal drizzled in lust and the most subtly penetrative percussion lines in house music. The master has lost none of his class! For the 303 lovers - the 'Spaceacid Mix' is duly peppered with meandering sequences that bubble and squeak in true Roland fashion.

On the flip, Bengoa invites Spanish deep house maestro and owner of Deep Explorer Music, Dubbyman, to deliver a sublime deep house rework of another personal track "The Touch". If you fantasize about those endless nights of deep house pleasure then this track needs to hit your listening pile pronto. Perfectly executed congas, sweeping pads and a rooted tribalism ensure this gets maximum plays every time. Brilliant EP!
