Alton Miller - Where Did We Go Wrong

The perennially, criminally under the radar Alton Miller is as reliable as they come for classy and soulful house sounds. The Noble Square label now taps up there Chicago great for another pair of blissed out beats. Opener 'Where Did We Go Wrong' is a real gem, with lush melodies and sweeping chords laid over simple but effective drums. The focal point is a superb vocal dipping with soul. 'Sweet Love' is a little deeper and darker but still has the sort of aching beauty that will always stand it out. A Ricardo Miranda remix reworks it into a perfect downbeat tune for star gazing.
